DC State Fair is a completely volunteer-based organization–none of us are paid to organize this showcase of DC’s home-grown talents in photography, crafts, baking, gardening, canning, and even homebrewing! So we rely on you, those who are interested in helping at the Fair and seeing it succeed!
Throughout the year, we have need of volunteers to help out at information booths, spread the word about the Fair in person, take on a leadership role as a committee member, and–of course–help out on the big day! If you’re interested in hearing about any of our volunteer opportunities, please visit our volunteer sign-up page and you’ll receive our volunteer e-mails!
Our volunteer opportunities for the day of the Fair will be announced later in the summer. Stay tuned by signing up for our newsletter!

I would be happy to volunteer to organize a fiber arts section of the Fair (maybe too late for this year but as you move forward!)
