The kids are (finally!) back in school and you’re looking for a fun, educational way to spend an evening with them.
Why not teach them poetry? Teach them how to write a haiku, limerick, or any other form of poem tonight. Have them write one about vegetables or gardening–then enter it into our first-ever Kids’ Poetry Contest by tomorrow night’s deadline for their chance to win!
We’ll celebrate the children’s efforts by featuring their poetry on our website and inviting them to read their winning poem at the Fair on September 22. But get the poem entry in by tomorrow night, September 7, for your kid’s chance to win the blue ribbon!
And after this week, you and your child can spend a lot of fun times together with the Kids’ Art Contest–a craft bean-art depiction of your neighborhood!
